about SKZ Landscaping
SKZ Landscaping is a family owned and operated business, and has been since it's inception. The idea for the business started when the owner, then a three year old bowling pin setter, just knew he was meant to be in the great outdoors. So he grabbed his radio flyer wagon and filled it with shovels, rakes, pails and bubble blowers (for effect). He went door to door offering his service to neighbours and businesses. By the time he was 4 he finally landed an actual client, his parents, who he built an elaborate garden for. Of course the scale was on the smaller side, 'cause so was he, and all he managed to plant was dandelions and crab grass as he had no budget for actual plants. By the time he was 5 he realized that the wagon was perhaps not professional enough to garner the high end clientele he wanted to attract so he purchased a big wheel to pull it and the jobs started pouring in.
Well his parents had no idea why their lawn started to look like a patch work quilt but Mrs. Haversham down the street was happy that her cats had thick grass to lay in on the lazy days of summer in her garden. In case you hadn't guessed, that's when he discovered sod.
Well fast forward to today and the Big wheels were retired in favour of Chevy Trucks and the radio flyer became heavy duty enclosed trailers but the idea remains the same, grab the tools and create a beautiful space for people to enjoy being outside as much as he did when he was a kid.

We now have a huge supplier of the finest trees and plants as well as professional grade irrigation parts, landscape lighting, (instead of bubbles and weeds), as well as a real sod farm (not his parents lawn) to enhance any project.
